ChessGamer: Tactics Awaken

En ny øvingsbok i sjakktaktikk for ferske og ganske ferske spillere. Oppgavene er gruppert innen 10 temaer som alle blir kort introdusert. Men mest er det en språkløs oppgavebok som passer også for barn, og med mange gode eksempler.

Dette er en slik treningsbok som inneholder nesten bare overkommelige litt enkle oppgaver, som det nettopp er svært nyttig å gå gjennom og drille til motivene sitter enda litt bedre! Ut fra tradisjonelt norsk ratingnivå kan vi snakke om at denne passer godt for lesere og elever med sjakknivå fra cirka 500 til 1200.

Dear Reader!

This book covers 10 important chess topics. Each topic is separated into its own chapter and each chapter is constructed in the following way: 2 illustrative po- sitions with solutions, an explanation of the topic and some help and hints to help the reader solve the exercises. Th ere are 40 exercises, growing in diffi culty, starting with the easy ones and fi nishing with the most complicated. Th e solu- tions for each chapter can be found at the very end of the book.

After you have worked through the 10 topics, you will find yourself at the test section, where you can challenge your new-found knowledge. There are 8 tests, each consisting of 10 positions, with one position from each of the topics that we covered in this book. However, you won’t know which position belongs to which topic!

book contains 500 educational positions: 20 exemplary positions, 400 exercises and 80 test positions.
