En ny repertoarbok om å spille Fransk 1 e4 e6 med svart. IM Lakdawala lager utrolig mange bøker, men røper at Fransk er favorittåpningen, den første kjærligheten, som han har spilt ofte gjennom 50 år siden han var 8 år! Så han er ekstra på hjemmebane!

To viktige opplysninger er at boka er bygget opp med Winawer som svar på 2 d4 d5 3 Sc3 Lb4 og i Tarraschvarianten det noe sjeldnere 3 Sd2 c5 4 exd5 Dxd5!?

Do you believe in love at first sight? I do. When eight years old, I played over a Botvinnik game where he won beautifully with the French Winawer (today, I don’t even remember Botvinnik’s opponent, or the actual game for that matter), and I fell in love with the open-ing.
